Hi, Blood pregnancy test may be more accurate than the urine pregnancy test . If blood pregnancy test is positive then this bleeding may be an implantation bleeding or a spontaneous abortion. I suggest to you to call your gynecologist about the bleeding.

Do you think that I need to take a blood test. I did take the urine twicw first it came out negative and then it came positive. That same day that it came positive i started bleeding at night. Do you think that before a period comes a test can be positive because of the hormone change.

ACCEPTED Check Mark

To get positive pregnancy test you have to have a placenta where an embryo attaches. Pregnancy hormone ( hcg ) is secreted by the placenta. If the second urine pregnancy test in fact is accurate then the bleeding you have is possibly due to a spontaneous abortion or due to implantation bleeding, if the positive test is not accurate or false positive then you are having a delayed period. There are many causes of the late period like exercise , change in diet , medication use, thyroid gland disorder, emotional stress etc.
