Question

Missed period

Sent to Health Experts July 03, 2006 7:32 p.m.

I am a 38 year female and 17 years ago I had a tubaligation after my son was born. I normally get my period every 28 days like clockwork. However, on June 1st it was extremely light, meaning I only wore pantiliners, and it lasted appx. 3 days also, it was a brownish color. My last normal period was May 9th. I should have gotten my period June 29, however, as of today I have not seen it. Lately, I have been using the bathroom frequently, taking naps during the day which I never do and today while walking through the airport terminal the floor seemed to be spinning like a carousel and I nearly fainted. I had to stand next to a wall for a few minutes to regain my balance.   I have taken a Clear Blue Easy pregnancy test and the results were negative. Should I wait two weeks and then go to the doctor and have a blood test?
