I am breast feeding my six month old and had my first period on june 2, 2006. I did not use a condom one time around the 15th. I spotted on the 30th for about 5 hours and still have not had my period. Could I be pregnant?

Reply to Mia's Post: Yes, i only use condoms because i am horrible about taking a pill on a everyday basis. I normally would use the patch but it would interfer with my already low milk production

I agree with Mia in that the only way to know for sure is to have a positive pregnancy test. A blood test in the doctors office will show up sooner. Sometimes a light period is an indication that an embryo is imbedding into the uterine lining, which is a good thing.

It is possible you are pregnant, and just as possible you aren't.

Sometimes periods are lighter during breast feeding as well, so there's no way we can really say over the internet.
