No,

I had a very light period last month, and then started experiencing fatigue, breast tenderness and a little nausea in the morning. I took three first response urine tests (two on Monday and one on Tuesday) and all came up positive. On Thursday, a urine test taken at planned parenthood further confirmed this. I started cramping Thursday night and they have continued throughout the weekend. I took another test last night (first response) and it was very very faint but still positive, however I initially thought it was negative because the pink line was so faint. I started bleeding and cramping more severely today, but it still doesn't feel like anything outside of bad menstral cramps. I don't know if I was pregnant or just had a bunch of false tests. I recently started birth control last month, and I don't know however find highly unlikely that the birth control caused false positives. Anyway I have no insurance, and I am wondering if I should go to the ER or just ride it out. I have had one miscarrage before, but it was at 9 weeks and very painful, very different from this. I figured if I was pregnant I could be no more than 4 weeks. Any advice would be great.

Urine tests are well known to be false- this is why a blood test is best. Also since you have recently just started the pill, this can also cause menstrual abnormalities for the first 2 or 3 months, until your body gets used to the hormones. If your pain becomes severe along with heavy bleeding, then I would definately go to the ER to get an exam and testing to see what exactly is going on.
