a few weeks ago, i took a pregnancy test and it was positive. today, however, i seemed top get my period and am very sore and crampy, but i took another test and it was still positive. I'm wondering how this could be?

Hello. If you haven't done so already, you will need to get your pregnancy confirmed by your ob-gyn. You will also need to let your doctor know about the bleeding and cramping. It is possible that you are having a miscarriage or have an ectopic pregnancy and such a situation needs immediate medical attention. Even if you did miscarry, your pregnancy test would remain positive until the pregnancy hormone is out of your system. So, call your ob-gyn now and tell them what is going on as you may need to go to urgent care.
