im 18 yrs old and i havent had my period in 4 months, ...

im 18 yrs old and i havent had my period in 4 months, and ever since the last day i got my period iv been having a lot of dizzy spells ever since...iv been to the doctors and they say i have vertigo, but can that make my period stop?
