Sent to Health Experts February 18, 2007 1:02 a.m.

I had a c-section on the first of december 2007 , 11weeks and 2 days ago, with my third child. I am not breestfeeding, i only did for the first 3days. With my other two children whom i had naturally & were bottle feed, my periods returned 6-8weeks after. I still havent got them yet. About a month ago i had a tiny bit of bleeding more like spotting for 2-3days (it was light and barley any blood more coloured mucus. usually mine r heavy and i have them for 5-6days! What do u think i should do? Could anything be wrong?

HI! Have you had intercourse? When did you have your 6 week postpartum check-up? Was the spotting after that? Are you using any birth control or protection? When you say "about a month ago", do you think it was closer to 4 weeks ago, or 3 weeks ago?

Let me know, so we can get this figured out! Donna RN

Hi. Um honestly i cant remember. possiably me and my husband could have, i know we had intercourse before the spotting i just cant remember when or if it was once or a couple of times. Unusual things hmm the other night i thought that my periods might have come but when i went to the bathroom it wasnt blood, it was yellow mucusy stuff with tiny spots of blood in it and there was a circle of white in it about 3mm all around, the only reason i looked so close was its the first time ive had that and it came on my undies and when i wiped aswell
