My period is almost two weeks late and there is no sign of my period. My husband and I had sex twice during my ovulation time or what I think is my ovulation time. Due to the fact that my periods are irregular I am not sure when the exact time is. I got dizzy and sick just the other night. I took three pregnancy tests at home and they are all negative. Could I still be pregnant?

mrs b2007,

It's very possible that pregnancy has occurred. In this case your best bet is to see your doctor for a blood pregnancy test, as this is the most accurate way of testing. Typically the best time to test is at least two weeks after a missed period. Other reasons for period abnormalities include stress, weight gain/loss, thyroid, hormonal imbalance, infection, illness, medications, polyp, cyst, amongst other reasons. If the blood pregnancy test comes back negative, your doctor can do further testing to determine what the exact cause may be.

My period is now 19 days late, breasts are tender and swollen and I am bleeding very minimal compared to regular period. It is also very light pink and brownish. What is going on with me?
