I had my copper iud removed on july 14 of last ...

I had my copper iud removed on july 14 of last month after having it for 5 yrs. I have not had a period since and pregnancy tests are negative. I am starting to worry that it may be a more serious problem as my periods were quite regular with the iud. What advice do you have? and should I be concerned. I was hoping to get pregnant again.
