This of course varies by state. The most recent average is a cost of $387 for an abortion at 10 weeks gestation; this would be an average of the low cost clinics.

Currently there is no government assistance programs to help women pay for this procedure. Medicaid does cover some instances of abortion if pregnancy is a threat to the woman's life or in cases of rape or incest. Some insurances (few) do also help cover the costs of abortions.
