I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and have experienced minor ...

Sent to Health Experts February 02, 2006 8:10 p.m.

I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and have experienced minor brown spotting 4 times (once per day) in the last 7 days. I had this for only 2 consecutive days during my first pregnancy which was normal. I have had two normal pregnancies then three chemical pregnancies ( ie: faint + test the day after period due and the period). Would this pregnancy be considered high risk and should I be concerned about this minor spotting if it is happening this often? Is there anything I should be doing? Thank you!

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Generally it is normal to have spotting etc during the first trimester of a pregnancy. If it becomes heavy or if you get any type of cramping then seek medical attention right away. But from your description above you are fine. It is something I would bring up to your doctor though when you have your visit.

Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don’t forget to click the *accept* button!
