I stopped taking ortho tri cyclen feb 13th and I spotted for 5 days starting that Friday feb 17th and I was supposed to get my period on the next thurs. which would have been my 24th day of my cycle. I did not get it. I had relations with my husband that weekend. As of right now 3/4/06 I have not gotten my period yet. Can I be pregnant so soon?

It is possible if you have ovulated and had sexual relations at the same time you were ovulating.

More likely is your body is going through a re-adjustment period while it gets used to being off the pill. If it's been two weeks since your missed period, you might want to try a home pregnancy test. Be sure you follow the directions exactly to avoid a false reading.

A blood test at the doctors office will show positive for pregnancy sooner than a home test.
