Sent to Health Experts March 15, 2006 1:16 a.m.

I have been very nauseous in the evening, my breasts are very tender, I have gained a little weight. When my boyfriend and I made love, it felt like he was hitting something up there. My period isnt due for another 5-7 days. I took a test today and it was negative. I just started taking the pill and have been having unprotected sex since day 1. Do I feel bad because of the hormones in the pill, or could I be pregnant?

REPLIED Check Mark

Hi,

It is possible that you are pregnant because of the fact that you just started taking pills and you didn't use protection. A pregnancy test needs to be done one week after a missed period.

I just need to know if I could be feeling these
same simptoms because of the hormones in the pill?
I am still taking the pill. If I am pregnant, will the pill effect the baby?
