Question

I recently had a full hysterectomy at first my urethra ...

Sent to Health Experts April 04, 2006 5:40 p.m.

I recently had a full hysterectomy at first my urethra felt swollen then seemed to ease up. It still feels sore at this point. For about two weeks I've had pain shooting down the right side when I have to urinate. I have pain prior to urinating and after for about 10 minutes. I have no lower back pain. I was tested for UTI and was told that I did not have UTI but did have Group B Strep. Which from what I have read usually only happens to pregnant women. So why or how did I get it. I'm baffled on why this is happening or what it could be. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
