Hi, X-rays should not be done during pregnancy. There is no question of doing abdominal x-ray nowadays because the ultrasound is available. If the x-ray becomes absolutely vital during pregnancy, then you can cover the abdomen or the part where the baby is by a protective lead apron and do a chest x-ray..
