I engaged in some slightly risky sexual behavior and was wondering if I was pregnant. I just got my period on time, and. with my period I have cramps and lower back pain (like usual), however I heard that there can be some spotting in the beginning and my period doesn't seem to be quite as heavy this time.

Just by going off symptoms alone, it is very hard to tell if a person is pregnant or not. These symptoms could just be a chance normal or can mask an illness in the body. The best thing to do is take an EPT test. If this is positive then you will need to see a doctor for more tests. If it is negative and you still experience symptoms, you will also need to see a doctor to have a blood pregnancy test done just to be sure. If this answer helps please hit the accept button.
