i had my period on May 21,2006 and i had sex with my husband on May 30th could i possible get pregnant , i want to know my chances we have been trying for several months.

It all depends on how long your cycles are. If you have a 28 day cycle, your ovulation day would be around 06/04, which would be 3 days from now. It would be a low chance, as this would be 6 days before your ovulation is occurring. Sperm can live a maximum of 72 hours once ejaculated. The closer you are to your ovulation date, the better the chances are.

Sperm only live for a maximum of 5 days once ejaculated, while the egg is only viable for 24 hours. What I posted above was if your cycles are 28 days long- if they are more or less than 28 days, then it would be plus or minus the date I gave you above.

You stated your period started on May 21 and sex with your partner on May 30 so that would put you at having sex 9 days after your period started.
