i hae a lumb behind my belly button. i was pregnant a few months ago and lost the baby in september. the lump is still there. is it anything to worry about?

It is possible that you could have some scar tissue or it could be a cyst or hernia. I would recommend that you have your physician examine the lump to determine the exact cause but if they did do a D&C then that is good as this reduces the chance of any infection. If it is not causing any pain I would not be overly worried but it would be something that I would recommend you have evaluated further by your physician.

should i go to a doctor immediately? there has been a lump there for about 9 months now but i have no pain. if i push on it, it is more of a discomfort. what type of doctor should i see?

Yes you should have it looked at and your family physician should be able to diagnose this and recommend you to a specialist if they feel you need to be seen by a surgeon but you first need to be seen by your primary physician. But you should have it checked out of it has been there for nine months.
