Hello,
After 6 and a half years of being on the pill, I took my last pill at the end of May. My first post-bcp cycle has been long, but I know that I ovulated on July 4th, because I had severe ovulation pain accompanied by lots of egg white cervical mucus. My husband and I had unprotected sex on July 2nd, and early in the day on the 4th, so I knew it was a possibility that I could be pregnant. On the 16th, I got my period; however, it has been extremely light (though more than spotting) and has lasted only about 2 days. Before going on the pill, my periods were always around 8 days, and they were at least 6 days while I was on the pill. So is this normal for my first post-bcp period? Is there still a possibility that I could be pregnant? Thank you so much for your help!

This could be related to implantation bleeding so yes it is possible that you could be pregnant and you should take a home pregnancy test to see what the results show. Also this could be related to a hormonal change since you just stopped your BCP as this can be a high cause of hormonal changes so I would recommend that you take a test and see what the results show but if they come back negative monitor your next cycle to see if it does level out as this can be normal to see a difference in cycles when you stop taking BCP.
