The other night I thought I started lactating, not milk, but liquid has started leaking from my nipples. My period started two days before. I did take a pregnancy test and it was negative. Is it possible I am poregnant and its too early, or is something else wrong?

Optional Information:
Female , Age: 20

Already Tried:
A pregnancy test

You have a few options.
1. You could wait a week and take a pregnancy test again to see if it was taken too early and the hormone level wasn't high enough to detect it with the first test.
2. You could get a blood pregnancy test at the doctor's office. It is very sensitive to low levels of the pregnancy hormone.
3. Leaking fluid from your breasts if you aren't pregnant or lactating could also be a sign of a more serious problem. So going to your doctor for an exam would be a smart thing at this point. If nothing else, your prolactin (lactating hormone) level could be drawn. If it is high, there may be a problem with your pituitary or somewhere along the hormone regulating track!

I would highly suggest #3 at this point. Good luck! Let me know if you need anything else! Take care!
