Thanks again

There is a difference between implantation bleeding and ovulation bleeding. Ovulation bleeding is what happens when your egg is released from the Ovary. Implantation bleeding what what happens when a fertilized egg (the sperm and egg have met) implants itself into the soft lining of the uterus so it can grow there.

Hi Jayden,

Thanks for requesting me and the difference is stated above but from the time frame that you had given me this bleeding that occured was long enough after your regular cycle for this to have been implantation bleeding. So you most likely had already become pregnant and experienced the implantation on the 28th.

If you have any further questions please let me know.

One more question - does implantation act as conception in a way ?

Implantation bleeding is what occurs when conception has already happened so in a way it does but with the bleeding so close to when you ovulated this does apply. You had your cycle and then conception happened then after that was when you saw the spotting that was actually the implantation bleeding from conception if that makes sense.
