I am 39 weeks pregnant and my hands are swollen to the extent I can not remove my wedding ring unless I cut it off. Is there an alternative?

Soaking my hand in ice water, then using veg. oil , and finally liquid detergent

You can cut salt intake to bring the swelling down. Also see what your OB/GYN thinks . If it is possible to prescribe you diuretic for couple days at this stage of the pregnacy to bring the swelling down and to remove the ring. To read more alternatives please click the link just below:
