I was on birth control for awhile and stopped taking the pill after my last period, approximately three weeks ago. I had unprotected sex approximately a week and a half ago and recently have had the symptoms of pregnancy; nausea, cramping, sore breasts. I am wondering if I take an excessive amount of birth control if this will stop the implantation of the egg. Also, if i am pregnant and take the extra pills, will this affect the fetus?
