I am on orthotricyclen lo and have been for a year and a half, I take my pill everyday between 7-8 but sometimes on the weekend I take it a little later than that.. on saturday i took it between 12-1 and then on sunday i took it between 10-2 but then took it between 7-8 the rest of the following week. I had sex on a saturday around 3am and took my pill a little late that day, he didnt use a condom, but he didnt ejaaculate either, Im just wondering if taking the pills a little late a few times owuld really decrease effectiveness? It can effect it a little but if you are taking a daily pill and do not miss a day but only miss by a few hours this is not as apt to cause a decrease in the effectiveness. If he did not ejaculate even though there is sperm in pre-cum there is not as much as a chance that you would become pregnant. Some women do experience their cycle when they are pregnant but this is not too common. Some will also experience implantation bleeding right after becoming pregnant the first month as well but for the most part your cycle stops when you become pregnant. The best time to take a test is first thing in the morning and one week after a missed cycle or after your cycle is completely finished if you think you could be pregnant but are still menstruating. Don't be sorry for asking it is good that you are concerned about these things and I am more than happy to help but with all you state I don't think the chances that you are pregnant are high.
