my period has been irregular for about a year now. i recently started having sex with my boyfriend for the past month. i started birth control pills a week ago and have been feeling real sick ever since. i have been really tired, light headed, and the othe rnight i threw up twice. the last time i was on the pill it didnt do that to me. what could be the reason?

You may be pregnant . Birth control peel may not be able to produce enough hormone level in the blood for 2 weeks to protect from pregnancy if you just started taking it. You need to use condom or anoter secondary birth control method for 2 weeks when you start taking pills. Please get a pregnancy test .
