I am 5 1/2 weeks pregnant and am experiencing brown discharge and cramping. I have miscarried before and am very anxious! I went to the ER on thurs (3days ago) and they say a yolksac and heart beat...but the cramping and spotting hasn't subsided. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

Hello

I would go back in and be rechecked. Be sure you are getting lots of rest, in fact, I'd take it real easy. Call your doctor tonight and tell them that this is still happening.

Call your doctor and see what those lab results are. They can call the lab and get them. If you cannot reach the doctor, go to the ER.
