Pregnant?

Sent to Health Experts August 19 2006 at 5:40 PM

i had felt abdominal pain (right upper side) on and off for about a week. I had unprotected sex and the next day my pain increased greatly. pain was so severe i had to go to emergency room, my stomach had bloated. felt dizzy and had nausea. my sonogram and cat scan came negative for renal, liver, appendix or gallbladder problems. i was given antacids and pain killers. can that pain be from implantation? can i be pregnant?

You would not feel severe pain due to implantation, and you would not feel implantation the very next day as it does not occur until several days after conception. If you are pregnant you will be able to tell by taking a test two weeks after you miss a period. Otherwise continue to pursue your doctors to find what is wrong with you until you are satisfied. It is good that they ruled out renal, liver, appendix, etc, however there is obviously something going on or you would not be in pain.
Best of luck to you, please press accept if this was helpful.

Relist: I still need help.
I had another concern which i forgot to ask. my concern is regarding if i can be pregnant or not. when i had the unprotected sex i was ovulating although he did not eyaculate in or out of me. When he felt he would eyaculate he would stop but not take his penis out of me. I am very worried as i am a recent single mom (six month old baby).

agostovidal,

It is very possible to get pregnant with this method, as there could havbe been pre-ejaculate present, which has as much chance of getting your pregnant as semen from ejaculation. This is why the pull out method has a very high failure rate. If you feel you may be pregnant your best bet is to wait at least two weeks after a missed period, and see your doctor for a blood pregnancy test as this is the most accurate way of testing.

Yes- as stated above pre-ejaculate could have been present. Typically a man does not feel the release of pre-ejaculate.
