Reply to Lindie's Post: it started as a very light brown color mid-day yesterday (and it came out only when I went #2)..then it stopped. And mid-day today, I had to go to the bathroom (again #2) and it was VERY red drops. Nothing on my panties. So, I just put a tampon in, just incase. Could this be just stress?

It's too early to say for sure, but it's possible this may be part due to implantation bleeding. However since you are both trying and if you are really wanting to be pregnant, this can actually throw off your cycle or stress as you indicated.

Go ahead and try and relax and don't think of being pregnant or anything at this point and see if you end up starting a regular flow or not.

I don't know how long you have been trying etc., but you may want to get an ovulation kit to find out when you are ovulating , therefore you can have sex during the right time of the month and have a greater chance. Even though it's hard, do try to relax and stay stress free.

Best of luck Hun, Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don’t forget to click the *ACCEPT* button and leave *POSITIVE* feedback.

Reply to Lindie's Post: we have been trying for about 10 months. I have been using the ovulation tests for 5 months and tracking my BBT for only a month. Today I was still high on my temp. 98.2.
this is much redder than my reg.bleeding...
So are you are saying that implatation bleeding can be bright red? and is it only drops? pls. explain.
some info:
Ovulated on 8/15 - temp went up on 8/16
Had intercourse on 8/7, 8/13, 8/15, 8/16, 8/21

It is a small amount of blood, which can be anywhere from pink to brownish in color.

If the "very" you wrote above is for the "red" then this may be more toward hormonal vs implantation. Since you have been trying for a month, with using the kids and BBT as well. It may be time to see your doctor. I don't know if you have had a full exam just to make sure all is going OK. Or if you have double checked to make sure your husband has a high sperm count. Also are you giving your husband 72 hours to replenish as well? There are a lot of factors that can play into getting pregnant. Generally it is said if you go a year of trying with no luck, then it's time to see someone. Also are you taking any extra vitamins and folic acid, as this does help too.

Hope this helps Hun.

Also, I feel no cramping, which is very strange because normally I would w/my normal period.

If it's sever enough it could, slightly tipped should have no effect. Thats good you are doing the vitamins. Sounds like you are doing pretty much most of the correct things to get pregnant.

So without knowing all of you or your husbands medical situation, when you had sex etc. I would at this point get a lab order and have your husbands sperm checked and go from there. If that is fine, you may want to talk to your doctor and see if you could be a candidate to take Clomid, which is generally the first step in trying fertility drugs, which it helps increase your chances.

So, what should I do from this point on...could impl.bleeding be red in color?   if it's implantation bleeding when would it stop?

I have known it to be pinkish to brownish, not a red-red color. It will stop, it is only a small amount, it's not like a flow.

So for now, hang tight and see what happens with this spotting you are having now. If you are due for your regular period in the next week here, just wait and see if the full period comes on or not.
