It depends how may days your cycle is. If you have a consistent 28-day cycle, ovulation is likely to begin about 14 days after the day your last period began and that is when you can get pregnant.

It is important to know that sperm can live in the vagina for seven fdays, but the average time is 3 to 4 days. It is possible to get pregnant from "old" sperm.
