Irregular Period/Calculating ovulation/Could I be PG now

Sent to Health Experts September 24 11:13 PM

I was on Birth control for about 10years, then I began having "breakthrough bleeding" I stopped my BC and became pregnant about 1 year later(not trying) after my daughter was born I took the mini pill while Breastfeeding. I stopped taking it in March 2006. I still have irregular periods I spot a coupe of days (not always consistent) and then the next week I have a very heavy flow for about 2-3 days. I want to get pregnant again but am having a difficult time figuring out when I ovulate. So I used an ovulation test about 13 days from the beginning of the spotting and it said I was about to ovulate. Now 4weeks later I have not spotted (which would have been last week) but all of the pregnancy test are negative. Should I go see an OB/GYN? Am I calculating my days right or should I just wait a couple more weeks to see what happens?
