hi...my son (10) years old has ADHD, he is on concerta - 18 for 4 months. but 3 weeks ago he is hyperactive ¬ concentrating little bit again. his psychiatrist increased his med to 36 mg. i can see that my son is much bettre but also he''s little bit depressed and has headach.im uncomfortable and worried..any advice you can help me with? thanx alot

there is no concerta 27 in uae now ,so i have to give him 2tablets 18.my question is: on the long run..is concerta 36 safe..any side effects..shall i go on 36 or go back to 18?

OK, well that option isn't viable then.

Yes I would say that Concerta is safe - but some patients do get some side effects (that tend to wear off) when they first start the medicine or increase the dose.

I would suggest talking to the doctor to see if they want to give this a little more time, or if they would suggest another medication.
