As you know, soap is not made to be eaten so it is not recommended. It can cause gastrointestinal disturbances ranging from stomach upset, gas, nausea, diarrhea, and abdominal pain, depending on how much soap is consumed. If it is a small amount that was consumed, there may not be any effects of eating it.
