The pain began February of last year. I had hysterectomy in January of that year and had trouble healing from it. I had to have another surgery in June to close the incision and remove a hernia that was caused from it.

I have been running a low grade fever (99) most of the time. I have also been sweating allot. I night I have to sleep with the heat turned off in my room. Even though I am not hot I wake up during the night completely wet. My bed gets so wet that can not even make bed until it dries. The sweating also occurs during the day.

The doctors have are test for Lupus, arthritis all types of blood work ,Cat Scans, and other ex-rays. They keep telling me that they don't know what is wrong but there is something.

This condition has caused me to take medical leave, because, I can not work with out having to take pain pills. I'm thinking I might need to take Disability.

I'm pain 99% of the time. Last night I had to get up four times to take pain medicines.

Yes I have diabetes it developedabout 3-4 years ago. My mother has and my uncle has diabetes.

The doctors checked my thyroid a couple of times it has been normal. Thyroid problems run in the family.

Another thing they checked me for was Cushings. But the tests turned out normal.

Hello Customer (name blocked for privacy),

Most likely you have the so called DIABETIC PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHIC PAIN (DPNP). The American Society of Pain Educators (ASPE) had recently established treatment guidelines to that condition which include effective medicines DULOXETINE and PREGABALIN. You need to discuss that with your doctor.

Read more information here: http://www.bddiabetes.com/us/main.aspx?cat=1&id=3025

As important as finding pain relief, your blood sugar needs to be well controlled. You have to take the prescribed diet and medications.

Take care and Good luck!
