"I have my period and 2 nights ago i woke up went to the bathroom and blood poured out of me as if i were peeing. i know it builds up when you lay down but this was way more then normal. Now my period is almost gone 3 days early. Ive always had a regular period. Can anyone tell me if this is normal?"

Dear Guests,

Sometimes our periods can be very erratic for one reason or another. Every woman's body is different, and what happens one time may never happen again. Who knows what may have happened this month...You are exactly right though, when you are flowing and have been lying down, the blood will pool and when you stand up can have a disaster. The "good"thing is, that is stopped very quickly. had it not, you would have been making a trip to your local ER. Our bodies have a way of trying to take care of these things on their own, even though it can be scary at times.
