i''ve got my period late in january then had some spotting in febuary and then in march i haven''t had a period yet what can be going on

Hello,

The first thing I would recommend is to check a pregnancy test again, just to be sure. It is not uncommon to have some spotting in early pregnancy.

If you are not pregnant, the other thing that could cause this is a hormonal imbalance, often related to stress. I would recommend seeing your doctor to be checked to see if this is the case.

One other possibility is that what you are describing can sometimes occur as a side effect of contraceptives, such as the pill.
