my daughter off and on has had headaches, bodyaches ...

my daughter off and on has had headaches, bodyaches and sore throat off and on for 2 months, and has been tested for strep and it is always negative.

Female, Age: 16, South Dakota

Already Tried:
iburprofen baths doctors say virus it will run it's course, negative on the strep tests all the time.

Ongoing sore throat with aches should also be tested for esptein barr virus (Glandular Fever). There are other viral infections which may cause upper respiratory tract infection however usually the body gets rid of these quite quickly. Epstein Barr can take a while to clear up.
