No I haven't ever had any uppper back pain, trauma or a sporting injury. I was in a car
accident serveral years ago but the only damage
that was done was to my wrist.

I'm not a diabetic but I have blood work done at least once a yr due to hypothirod. and the last
test that I just had done the report that I got in the mail the dr. wrote on there that the blood sugar was a little over and recommended that I go on a low carbbdiet to lower my risk of diabetes.

I'm not a smoker but my parents smoked the whole time I lived at home.

The medications that I take are as follows

Meloxicam 15 mg
Allegra D Tab 24 hour
Synthroid Tab 125 mcg
Prilosed OTC 20 mg

I take all of the above Once a day every day.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Amanda

Hello Amanda,

Thanks for the information. The abnormal sensation which is termed as paresthesia seems to be originating from the thoracic spine, around middle of the back. This can be because of the degenerative spine disease, disc disease or spondylosis. The mainstay of the treatment is physical therapy. Meanwhile avoid pushing, pulling, or carrying heavy objects.

The hot sensation is unlikely to come from the visceral organs and is not related to the intra-abdominal structures.

A MRI of the lower thoracic spine would be informative. Specialist to handle this would an orthopedist.

Please feel free for the follow up questions.

Dr. Arun

you suggested to avoid pushing, pulling, or carrying heavy objects. What further damage
could or would happen if I'm not able to..
