Early this morning, I started having very liquid diarrhea.
Sent to Health Experts July 02 10:28 PM

Early this morning, I started having very liquid diarrhea. During the day it turned yellow and had a fishy odor. Later in the day it turned green and was still very liquid. After lunch I had hiccups that wouldn''t stop. I got home and was feeling awful. I decided to vomit. When I did (without forcing myself), I vomited black liquid and probably mucus. I am pretty sure I don''t have yellow fever. Could this be the result of gastric bleeding?

Hello,

By analyzing your history it seems to me that you have the infection of the gastrointestinal tract or gastroenteritis where diarrhea and vomiting occur.

Repeated hiccup may lead to tear in the mucosa of the stomach or the esophagus, resulted in bleeding and you vomited black colour liquid which is due to altered blood mixed with stomach acid and mucus.

As you are continuing your gastroenteritis along with upper gastrointestinal bleeding you should be checked by doctor in ER or urgent care for evaluation and further management.

I hope this will help. Please press the ACCEPT button if I answered your question. Thank you.
