neck and upper back/spinal cord

I am experiencing upper back and neck pain (about 10 days now). If I
bend my head back as far as I can, an electrical impulse shoots through
my body. Also, if I move suddenly I feel the same electric shock feeling
through my body. It is only slightly painful, but more annoying and
scary. What could this condition be a symptom of?
