My husband is experiencing heat exhaustion since yesterday. He continues to drinks water and gatorade but continues to vomit within 1 to 1 1/2 hours or taking in fluids. He is also still experencing crapms in the calves. What else can I do to try and keep liquids in him?

Since this has been going on since yesterday, I recommend that you take him to the ER to be evaluated. He might need some IV fluids to get back on track.

If not, slow way down to just ice chips. When he can keep those down without vomitting, upgrade to sips of water. The key is to go slow but steady. Slow enough that he doesn't vomit.

Again, if he has been doing this since yesterday, or if he hasn't voided in 6 hours or more, he probably needs some IV help.
