This could be the case of a vaginal cyst or Gardner's duct cysts. There are several types of cysts that can range from the size of a pea to the size of an orange. Vaginal cysts normally do not cause symptoms, although there may be a lump felt in the vaginal wall or protruding from the vagina. If a cyst is located under the urethra or bladder x-rays may be performed to be certain the cyst does not involve these structures. I suggest that you make an appointment with your health care professional so they can do a thorough examination. In most cases of cysts routine examinations and observation for growth and any other changes may be the only treatment needed. Surgical removal is usually only performed if the cyst is causing problems. I hope this information will be of help to you.
