I use Aquanil Lotion HC (Hydrocortisone USP 1% ) as a face moisturizer for more than 10 years. Now my face gets so dependent on this product. If I skip only once applying Aquanil Lotion HC, my face will immediately have lots and lots of red spots come out all over the face which takes at least a few weeks to be recovered with the use of Aquanil Lotion HC. I have to use Aquanil Lotion HC at least twice a day now. I know prolonged use of this product will thin my skin and make my skin more sensitive. I want to stop using it and tried many many different mild lotion instead but nothing seemed to work. I feel so helpless. Can you please give me some advice.
