I have a sore inside of my mouth. It is as though something is wearing on the skin on the inside of my cheeks, and is causing a very raw and painful area. Is there something I can use to try to help this? (peroxide, listerine?0

Already Tried:
Stopping certain mints, some listerine (it butns), hydrogen peroxide once.

Hi

You can try gargling with warm salt water. Also, you can purchase a product called ambesol. It is actually for teething, or sore teeth. One word of caution though. If you use it, it will numb the area and you are at risk of biting the area and making it worse. So, if you try it, do it when you aren't going to be eating.

One of the wonders of our mouths is if there is a sore there, they heal incredibly fast. You should have relief by tomorrow.

Oh yes, also avoid eating spicy foods until it is better.
