my husband has numbness in his penis, what could be the cause?

This problem of numbness started off in his right thigh and then moved to his left thigh, both just above the knee. The numbness went to his butt on the left side. Now he is saying tht it seems to be affecting his penis. He is worried.

Not knowing anything else about him, I would say he as a pinched nerve in his lower back. Most likely at L5-S1 level. He needs to see a back specialist like an othropedic or neurosurgeon for this. He could be having a form of Sciatica.
