In May I was diagnosed with stress fractures of both hips. It's been quite awhile since the diagnosis and the pain has gotten worse to the point where it's chronic and severe on the right side. The pain is accompanied by a cracking and popping sound when moving in bed in the morning and when moving from a sitting position. The pain in the right hip sometimes radiates down the leg to the knee area and I've lost alot of range of motion and am unable to withstand alot of physical activity without the pain becoming disabling. I am concerned that this may indicate an underlying conditon, not only stress fractures, due to the fact that I have pain, although not as severe in other joints as well.
