Question

mri results decoding

Sent to Health Experts December 21, 2005 4:34 p.m.

can you decode and mri resulf for me in the simplest terms possible? as follows: avulsion fracture at the tibial attachment of the acl with 4 mm elevation of the avulsion fragment and underlying bone marrow edema. there is increased signal in the distal anterior cruciate ligament, likely secondary to the adjacent fracture, however a coexisting moderate partial acl tear cannot be excluded.
