Question

Period

Sent to Health Experts June 07, 2004 10:35 a.m.

I am not supposed to start my period yet, but I started two weeks early and still have it...should I be worried? I am on the pill, so they have been regular up until now. I am no longer having sex, could that influence it? And my period is not blood, it is more brown discharge

Some women get periods of break through bleeding when on the pill especially if there is a stressor to the body or mind such as illness and or emotional stress or even medications.  If you are still concerned you could see your Gynecologist for an exam.  Good Luck!
