I have frequently experienced a burning sensation on my scalp. The sensation seems to travel (expand)to other areas on my scalp and then gradually, over several days retreats. It hurts just to comb my hair. I've tried taking aspirin and ibuprofen to reduce the pain to no avail. Is this possibly an allergic reaction or symptimatic of a more serious condition such as high blood pressure? Any ideas??
