my period is really heavy. I have been going through a super tampon about every 20 -30 minutes for the last 24 hours. There have been two occasions this morning where I felt like I was going to pass out.

Please go to the ER immediately- this is not normal at all and passing out is a sign of anemia. This needs to be treated right away.
