Pain & Mens Troubles
Sent to Health Experts February 07 05:39 PM

I am a 55 yr old male. As early as about 5 or 6 yrs ago I began putting on weight. I have tried to loose it and have on different occassions but it kepts comming back and I end up wieghing even more. About the same time I noticed pain in my left leg, I thought my knees were the trouble but had them checked out and they seem find according to doctors, but the pain still persist. I have not seen a family Dr in yrs and do not have one. Now the pain is in both legs and feels to consentrate at the knee down through the shin, right in the bone itself. At times I am almost unable to walk. I know I need to exersize and loose the weight and use to be very active. But now the pain is so bad that I just want to come home from work and lay down. I work as a crane operator and my job entails me to sit for long periods of time, sometime's, 8 to 10 to 12 hrs. After a long day of operating equipment the last thing on my mind is, coming home and exersizing. I was reading some info in Mens health about diebites and was wondering if it were possible that I could have it. I also think that my blood persure is a little high as well, could both of these problems create pain in the body . As I said, I am a male 55 yrs old about 275 -to -280lbs. ^ yrs ago I used to walk as much as 20 miles on a week-end, now I'm lucky to walk 200 ft, I take all the Osteo Bi Flex triple strenght as well as cacium magnesium & zinc, also omega 3 fish oils. My other troubles extend to the bath room, i:e:, up 2 maybe 3 times a night to urinate, and not much relief. or volume. As well as the sex has all but gone away. The mind and the spirit are willing but the body will not partake. Other than that I feel fine, I'm not a junk food junky and try to eat as responsible as I can. Not a big potatoe eater but love them, scamble eggs and cereal for breafast, lite lunch , and usually a liter diner. I know I need to see a Dr. but first I have to find one, and then the time to see him. In my business. it's not as easy as it sounds.

Thanks
Gary I
